Mrs. Laura JESSUP of Marshall, 67, passed away Friday night,  Oct 12 at Vermillion County Hospital. She was a member of the  Missionary Society of the Marshall Baptist Church and member of  the Home Economics clubs of both Marshall and Bloomingdale.  Surviving are a cousin, Vernon Hobson of Marshall. The body was  taken to the Davies Funeral Home where funeral services were held  at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Rev. Mike Hinckle officiated and  burial in Polar Grove Cemetery. - typed by kbz

Marshall News -- Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Davies Funeral  Home for Miss Laura JESSUP, who died Friday night at the Clinton  Hospital, following a stroke suffered at her home near here,  Wednesday night. She was 76 the daughter of Yancy and Serilda  RAYLE Jessup and a lifelong resident of this community. Her  nearest relative is a cousin, Vernon Hobson of Marshall, Rev.  Milo Hinckle was in charge of the funeral services. Leland  Chapman sang Good Night and Good Morning and Sunrise with  accompaniment by Mrs. Russell Norris. Pall bearers were Allen  Hadley; Austin Hockett; Ernest Chamness; Lee Davis; Fred DePlanty  and Louis Brading. Burial in Poplar Grove Cemetery. - typed by kbz
